Second Life Subject Matter Expert
Skills & Qualifications
• Candidate must have been active In World for 2+ Years
• Has a passion for everything Second Life (SL)
• Actively serves as a SL Mentor
• Attends Linden Lab (LL) and SL events regularly
• Must be self-motivated
• Familiar with various In World – Out World tools, blogs, websites, all related in ways to LL and SL
Not required but a plus;
• Familiarity with SL dynamics and limitations of builds, textures, culture, etiquettes, navigation, etc.
• Understanding of Viewer Code
• Working knowledge of XUI
• Familiarity with the following research techniques:
o Building and administering questionnaires
o Interviewing / running Focus groups
o Analysis
o Report Generation
Responsibilities of Position
• Communicate effectively with residents, new residents, Linden Lab staff, and Vectorform Development teams.
• Occasional travel may be required
• Produce reports on In World findings, working with Project Managers and team leads to add insight and establish processes to optimize research activities.
• Document and present In World findings weekly to development team
• Assist in the ideation of interface concepts
