Interactive Designer
Skills & Qualifications
• Preferable design degree or diploma
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in an interactive design role
• Expert level in Illustrator and Photoshop
• HTML/JavaScript, CSS, Flash or other relevant technology skills
• Excellent portfolio
• Written comprehension skills
• Electronic rendering skills combined with an appreciation of layout and design, typography, good understanding of user interface fundamentals
• Understanding of design for content management systems, usability and accessibility practice and customer focus are essential.
Responsibilities of Position
• Create and present effective design/graphic solutions
• Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
• Excellent layout and typography skills
• Estimate project effort required
• Work and report to a project plan/timeline
• Manage integrating graphics into project construction and filing processes
• Manage and record time on projects
• Contribute to the navigational and instructional design of websites
• Prepare and optimize graphics for use
• Organize and manage content flow
• Carry out production utilizing mainstream graphics and animation packages
