Motion Graphics Designer
Skills & Qualifications
• Online Portfolio (including an accessible online reel or Flash movie clips)
• Must demonstrate ability to deliver projects to client specifications, within timeline and budget
• Ability to create exceptional designs under strict deadline
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, 3D (Maya, 3D Studio), Final Cut Pro
• Thorough understanding of editing and optimization of motion graphics work, specific to delivery in Interactive applications.
• Professional training focused on art and design, such as a bachelor’s degree or similar experience.
• 2-3 years minimum experience as a motion graphics professional for a creative firm
• List of URLs/online portfolio. Please give SPECIFIC details about your level of involvement (concept, art, code, programming, etc.) on each project
• Familiarity with current trends in web design and online environments
Responsibilities of Position
• Design and production of both 2D and 3D animation assets
• Compositing of typography, photos, video, and audio elements to create cohesive experiences
• Ability to create under pressure
• Ability to use extensive post-production effects to turn shots into high impact visuals
• Solid understanding of client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.
• Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple projects within tight timelines
• Staying informed of the latest motion graphics technologies
